Title: The Wood Key Kalimba
(Avant-garde a Synthesizer e.p.)

Here are fifteen pieces composed and performed on the Wood Key Kalimba which looks a bit like a really odd looking Godzilla transformer style. This great wee folk instrument which I made from ice-lolly sticks and a bit of discarded wood (oh, and some screws) has bags of character and is great fun to play. It doesn't cost much to make. Just save up some ice-lolly sticks and find a bit of wood to fit them onto using some screws. I used to sell these on Etsy (www.etsy.com/uk/shop/AbelsWares), but it's now for sale in my on Ebay shop:
